Winery Wednesday: Italian vs. French Face Off

  • World Class Wines 149 A Avenue Lake Oswego, OR, 97034 United States (map)

Both owned by the Jackson Family Estate, this week's Winery Wednesday will showcase superior wines from Château Lassègue in Bordeaux (Saint-Émilion) and Tenuta di Arceno from Tuscany.

We promise a fascinating comparison as both estate's wines feature classic 'Bordeaux Varietals' and are produced by the same famed winemaker - Pierre Seillan.

Pierre Seillan has worked as a Viticulturist and Winemaker for more than four decades in a number of countries including Italy, France and the United States. At Tenuta di Arceno & Château Lassègue, Pierre works closely with his Italian and French teams, believing his job is to respect tradition, but also to do his part to guide and enhance it. By doing so he remains true to the distinguished history of both cultures.

Here's what we'll be pouring:
2015 Les Cadrans de Lassègue
2015 Chateau Lassègue Saint Emilion Grand Cru
2015 il fauno di Arcanum
2011 Tenuta di Arceno Valadorna
2011 Tenuta di Arceno Arcanum
2005 Tenuta di Arceno Arcanum

Tasting Fee: $15 (Snacks are included)

All featured wines will be available at discounted prices during the tasting.
