Winery Wednesday: Avennia Wine

  • World Class Wines 149 A Avenue Lake Oswego, OR, 97034 United States (map)

Old World Inspiration //Proudly Washington

Focusing on grape varieties used in Bordeaux and the Rhône Valley, Avennia Wine was established in 2010 and released it's first vintage in 2012 to much acclaim. Invaluable relationships were put in place with Washington's most legendary growers, enabling them to secure the best fruit from a number of different AVAs which include: Yakima Valley, Columbia Valley, Red Mountain, Snipes Mountain and Horse Heaven Hills.

Avennia's NW Distribution & Marketing Manager, Eli Traverse, will be on hand tomorrow night to pour and enlighten us on the history, winemaking and vineyards that have made this Washington winery such a powerhouse producer in less then a decade from their inception.
