In the true pioneering spirit of Oregon, we’ll be introducing you to Oregon's “other” grape varieties, tasting some of the most exciting and innovative wines in Oregon right now: the new alternatives to Pinot Noir.
We'll learn about the history of Pinot Noir in the Willamette Valley, the varieties that forward-thinking winemakers are planting now, and why these wines could be the future of the Valley. We will guide you through the tasting of some unconventional—but increasingly sought after—Oregon wines that we are especially excited about (and that will be perfect for showing off Oregon to your friends and family during the holidays).
Arrive between 5-5:15 for welcome bubbly. Class will begin at 5:15 and includes Sunday School illustrated hand outs and a tasting flight of 5 wines to assist us on our Oregon wine journey.
